What a driver.You can play with the weights in the back if you want to, but the feel and sound of the club are remarkable.I have never been a big hitter, and this club was launching them past 200 yards consistently.I confess that my golf coach straightened out my swing, so I don't have a slice anymore, but wow, when you hit it in the sweet spot...look out.

Get maximum speed, distance, forgiveness and accuracy with the technologically advanced TaylorMade r7 CGB MAX driver. Distinctively shaped with a triangular titanium clubhead, it also features TaylorMade's unique Movable Weight Technology, which incorporates a system of clubhead ports and differently weighted cartridges. Purchased these 3-aw from that large manufacturer's pre-owned online store, and they're great! They've got great feel for game improvement irons, and contrary to what everyone else is saying, you CAN work the ball with them. I decided to go with these, after hitting the newer 08 big bertha's and x22's, because i'm in college and they were a great deal. I like them just as much as the latest/greatest out there, and could not be happier with my decision! to clarify; the 10 iron is a pitching wedge and the W wedge is an approach wedge. No idea why Callaway did that, but it's no big deal. If you're looking for excellent irons for next-to-nothing, look no further.

Callaway FT-5 DRIVER GRPH (SHAFT TYPE: Fujikura E150) Review

The golf world is about more merciless than the fashion industry in terms of how fast things move, how fast things fall out of style, and how fast technology and advances progress.

Take this FT-5 driver.In 2008 it cost twice as much as what it costs today on Amazon.Today in 2009 the top priced spot being taken over by Callaway's newest driver the FT-9.What does this mean for you? Well that if you can wait a year, you can wind up with a fantastic driver for half price.

I've been hitting the FT-5 for over a year now and I can report that its a wonderful driver.Golf though is a complex sport....do I still slice? Yes.Do I still hook it sometimes? Yes.That's more a matter of my skill limitations than of the club itself which is just beautiful to look at address and it gives a very comfortable "ping" when you smash a ball perfect.It does go far, it is very forgiving, and it helps me play my best game.

Overall, I can't say enough great things about this club.If you must have the latest, you can pay twice as much for the FT-9 or if you want the square look FT-i clubs but overall, I think this FT-5 is great.It has multimetal technology, carbon fiber, weighting in the perimeter to make it very stable.It's not infinitely customizable like some of the newest clubs out there but for me, it works just fine - its a golf club and a big one at that.

I think this puppy will stay in my bag until it falls apart, 5-7 years, or until something really radical comes out that makes me fall in love again (I must say, when these 460cc....big....drivers came out, I fell in love and what made me upgrade).

Callaway Fusion FT-9 Tour Neutral Driver (460cc) Review

I upgraded from my ERC II with the stock stiff shaft to the FT-9 8.5 loft tour club with the stiff shaft. I had a natural draw with a lot of hooks using my ERC and with the FT-9 and am straight as an arrow and able hit a draw or fade with ease. The lower spin rate is mainly from the shaft and has given me at least 30 yards of distance and I'm constantly hitting the ball 315+ yards.

Callaway Golf X-20 Iron Set (4-PW) Review

A few weeks ago I purchased a set of X20 Irons, 4 thru SW. Any ball I use carries a club longer than my old steel shafted irons. Love the feel.Even high compression balls feel soft. Little or no vibration can be felt thru the grip. It's hard to tell from the feel where the ball is headed. They set up beautifully.Builds confidence just looking at them. The standard lie fits me well even though I am rather short in height.A friend tried one and liked it so much he is going to trade in his old Callaways for a set of X20s.

Callaway FT Fairway Wood (Neutral) Review

I own two of these guys with graphite shafts: a 3 wood and a 5 wood.I've owned them for about a year and I can report that they're fantastic.Very well constructed, light, made of multipler materials.Of all my clubs, I have to say that my FT woods are probably the easiest to hit consistently.

If you're considering whether to use hybrids to replace woods - I would urge you to reconsider. For me at least, woods provide a very relaxed swing, almost a sweep vs the dig down of irons and I find them overall comfortable.

From a manly standpoint, nobody will look at your crosseyed if you bring out one of these FT woods to bear on the fairway -- pull out a hybrid and who knows what looks you'll get.

Yes, these are pricey but I think that these guys will be in your arsenal for a long time so an investment here will go a long way.

I prefer the neutral (it comes in a draw variety too) but overall, I'd rather work with a neutral wood and try to correct whatever I'm doing wrong rather than engineer the club around me, but that's a personal choice -- and you get quite a bit of customization available on these clubs.

Enjoy, you won't find a finer fairway than this.

Fusion Technology employs a philosophy called Complete Inertial Design (CID), in which Callaway engineers considered all of the club's characteristics collectively and created a design that balances those characteristics while optimizing performance. The key to CID is to avoid focusing on one characteristic at the expense of the club's overall performance. One major element of CID, for example, is to increase the stability of the clubhead, which is measured in terms of MOI. By raising the MOI on both the vertical and horizontal axes, and by positioning the weight to the perimeter of the clubhead, Callaway engineers were able to add stability to balls struck around the edges of the clubface. And because the clubhead rotates less during these swings, golfers lose less ball speed--helping the ball travel longer distances--and the ball goes straighter on off-center hits.
In addition, Callaway included an OptiFit Weighting System in the FT fairway wood, letting golfers choose a club that suits their specific swings by offering three center of gravity (CG) locations in most lofts: draw, to promote a draw or reduce a slice/fade; neutral, for maximum workability; or fade, to promote a fade or reduce a hook/draw. Callaway Diablo Edge Men's Golf Driver Review

I was skeptical of Drivers in general.I am a 13 handicapper who used to trade drivers yearly.My current driver had been in my bag for 3 years, and I thought it was pretty good.I took my 11 year old daughter to the driving range and they had demo days, with no room for us to just practice, so I thought I would show the Callaway rep that his new drivers were no better than the driver I bought 3years ago.I hit my driver 250-260, I can slice or hook with the best of them (probably why my handicap doesnt improve).I hit this driver, Diablo Edge - not the tour edition- and it went 275-285 which was great, but most importantly it went STRAIGHT as an arrow.So I think I'm just on today and grab my old driver.... Same old pattern.250 left 235 right, and no control over which was coming.Back to the Diablo- it's flying straight and long again.I tried the other drivers.... The diablo edge tour edition (not as good for me), the latest Taylor mades, Cobras, etc.For me, this driver was head and shoulders above the others.It has played that way on the course, too. I couldn't be happier with a driver than this one.

Callaway's Hyper X Driver.That's who.This is a great driver at a reasonable price.It may not look or sound as fancy as the Diablo, but it still get's the job done.Large, forgiving club face with a sturdy shaft makes this a winner.Excellent grip and feel.Lightweight, but still beastly.I can get some nice drives with this one.I'm using the left handed 10 degree neutral version with stiff shaft.I feel right at home on the driving range.
