Purchased these 3-aw from that large manufacturer's pre-owned online store, and they're great! They've got great feel for game improvement irons, and contrary to what everyone else is saying, you CAN work the ball with them. I decided to go with these, after hitting the newer 08 big bertha's and x22's, because i'm in college and they were a great deal. I like them just as much as the latest/greatest out there, and could not be happier with my decision! to clarify; the 10 iron is a pitching wedge and the W wedge is an approach wedge. No idea why Callaway did that, but it's no big deal. If you're looking for excellent irons for next-to-nothing, look no further.

The golf world is about more merciless than the fashion industry in terms of how fast things move, how fast things fall out of style, and how fast technology and advances progress.

Take this FT-5 driver.In 2008 it cost twice as much as what it costs today on Amazon.Today in 2009 the top priced spot being taken over by Callaway's newest driver the FT-9.What does this mean for you? Well that if you can wait a year, you can wind up with a fantastic driver for half price.

I've been hitting the FT-5 for over a year now and I can report that its a wonderful driver.Golf though is a complex sport....do I still slice? Yes.Do I still hook it sometimes? Yes.That's more a matter of my skill limitations than of the club itself which is just beautiful to look at address and it gives a very comfortable "ping" when you smash a ball perfect.It does go far, it is very forgiving, and it helps me play my best game.

Overall, I can't say enough great things about this club.If you must have the latest, you can pay twice as much for the FT-9 or if you want the square look FT-i clubs but overall, I think this FT-5 is great.It has multimetal technology, carbon fiber, weighting in the perimeter to make it very stable.It's not infinitely customizable like some of the newest clubs out there but for me, it works just fine - its a golf club and a big one at that.

I think this puppy will stay in my bag until it falls apart, 5-7 years, or until something really radical comes out that makes me fall in love again (I must say, when these 460cc....big....drivers came out, I fell in love and what made me upgrade).

Callaway Double Magnetic Driver Head Cover Review

I bought the Callaway Magnetic driver cover because I wanted the ease of the slip on with magnetic closure. It does work though I don't think the magnet is quite as strong as it should be.I have to position the cover just right so the magnetic sides will contact and hold on the club.
If your bag doesn't have the individual dividers and if you have graphite shafts you probably want to stick to the the longer head cover to protect the shafts

The Callaway Diablo 3 wood is exactly what I was looking for to round out my set.First, it's an absolutely gorgeous club (black head with deep red shaft makes it look mean).Looks aside, it feels great in my hands.The grip is excellent.I'm using the 15 degree loft with regular flex shaft version (left handed).The head has a slightly lower profile than some other woods, which enables it to really get under the ball and launch it.Very light weight, but it's substantial enough to feel the force of the impact.One of the best clubs I own.

Callaway Diablo Edge Men's Golf Driver Review

I was skeptical of Drivers in general.I am a 13 handicapper who used to trade drivers yearly.My current driver had been in my bag for 3 years, and I thought it was pretty good.I took my 11 year old daughter to the driving range and they had demo days, with no room for us to just practice, so I thought I would show the Callaway rep that his new drivers were no better than the driver I bought 3years ago.I hit my driver 250-260, I can slice or hook with the best of them (probably why my handicap doesnt improve).I hit this driver, Diablo Edge - not the tour edition- and it went 275-285 which was great, but most importantly it went STRAIGHT as an arrow.So I think I'm just on today and grab my old driver.... Same old pattern.250 left 235 right, and no control over which was coming.Back to the Diablo- it's flying straight and long again.I tried the other drivers.... The diablo edge tour edition (not as good for me), the latest Taylor mades, Cobras, etc.For me, this driver was head and shoulders above the others.It has played that way on the course, too. I couldn't be happier with a driver than this one.
